Hey all,
It's been a while.  Just a quick update.  I'm getting baptized this Sunday at 2pm so if you're around LA and you want to come let me know and I'll give you the address of my church.  Otherwise, please pray for me that I'll be filled to overflowing with the Spirit and that I would experience the full meaning of it all.  Thanks guys.

I just got back to Taiwan this morning.  I'll be here till the 27th.  Let me know if you're around and want to meet up.  Hopefully I'll get time to process what's been happening since my last post and write some updates.  Alright, still jetlagged so I'll write more later.

Hey, just had a Morrison reunion in LA.  We had 24 alumni come out to lunch (from class of 1999-2006, except for 2001).  Overall it was pretty good dim sum.  Some of us stopped by to get some tea afterwards.  It was really cool to see everyone again.  Hope you Morrisonians elsewhere are able to continue to meet up with other alumni and spur each other on towards love and good deeds (Heb. 10:24-25).  It's always encouraging to see the familiar faces and hear how everyone's doing.  Something I'm learning these days is that essential to living a life worthy of the calling we have received is to live in the unity of the Spirit (Eph. 4:1-3).  And how we can do this is summed up in verse 2, "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."  I wish I had this verse going into last VSET, but I'm thankful God's given it to me now.  Hopefully I'll do a better job of living it out this summer on missions.  I also hope that you can join me in praying this for the body of Christ starting even today.  Alright fellow Mustangs and friends, let us press on so as to finish the race.  Keep the faith and fight on!

So I had a really good time in Vancouver even though it did rain.  got to hang out with johnson's friends from his fellowship. also got to see his family and catch up a bit with tina.  i was really scared though at the airport because i thought i was late for my flight.  apparently the clock on the wall was off and i made it to my gate in time, but for a few minutes i was pretty worried i wouldn't be able to make it back to LA it time for easter training program.  Thanks to God though, I did get back and we had a really good training time. the focus was on devotion or remember our first love.  Sharing at Pasadena City College was definitely easier than at Cal Tech, but both were good as God taught us a lot and gave us a few contacts who we can hopefully stay in touch with.  i'm also thankful i got to catch up with dan sutoyo.  then, on thursday we had a mini-mak reunion.  It was good to finally see eric chuang after 8+ years. sharon, audrey, eileen, mikey, and chucky also made it out.  And I guess next we're going to try to organize a bigger morrison dinner with other high school alumni.

well, spring break is almost to an end for me and i haven't gotten much work done. one thing i'm trying to finish though is my missions letter for this summer. once again I will be going with Volunteer Summer English Teachers to East Asia to teach English. you can view some videos off a youtube if you search for "vset"  If you would like to receive a letter, either physical or electronic, send your address to "leu_thomas@hotmail.com" or just leave a post here. thanks, hope you're all doing well.

Hey, it's been a while, but spring break starts for me tomorrow.  I'll be going up to Vancouver, Canada for the first time ever.  I'll be visiting Johnson Chuang (middle school friend) and maybe I'll get to see his family as well.  I'm really excited, though the forecasts says it'll likely rain.  Lord willing it won't but even if it does, I know God will be sovereign in using this time as a blessing to both of us.  Please pray that God would use this break time to encourage both of us and continue to pray that his family will come to know Christ as well.  I'll be back in LA on Sunday night to go with some of the guys from my fellowship to Arcadia.  We'll be mainly doing evangelism training at Pasadena City College and Caltech from Monday to Wednesday.  Please pray that we'll continue to grow in fellowship with one another and also in faith as we share the Gospel with students.  After that, I think Michael Tzeng is arranging a mini-MAK reunion dinner for Thursday.  It'll be cool to see some old friends again.  And that's all I have planned for Spring Break.  Hopefully I'll be able to get some studying done towards the end as well.

as far as what's been going on since my last post.  I can't believe how fast my last semester is going.  It's been really nice only taking 3 classes.  I read the Practice of Godliness by Jerry Bridges which really jumpstarted my devotional life.  I've also been wrestling with what to do after graduation.  I will post my decision after spring break.  Lastly, I just finished reading Wild at Heart by John Eldridge.  It took me a few chapters to really get into it and though I don't agree with everything, I enjoyed the book thoroughly as I've begun to see more clearly God's hand in fathering me and also the spiritual warfare that is going on.  Hope you all are doing well.  Let me know how I can pray for you.  Fight on!
